Jim Caporali, MS, CRES, SASHE
Jim Caporali is a proven operational leader with over 30 years of experience in the fields of Clinical Engineering and Facilities Management. His experience includes technical delivery, account and regional management, as well as corporate level positions supporting operations, sales and all other aspects of a national clinical equipment management program. Jim held the position of Vice President, Program Development and Support with Sodexo Clinical Technology Management and Patriot Medical Technologies. In this role his responsibilities included creation, evaluation, and improvement of systems used to evaluate new and ongoing clinical equipment maintenance opportunities, along with responsibilities for management and oversight of teams tasked to create program offerings for potential customers. This role also included national operational support for clinical engineering, supply chain management, and regulatory compliance. Jim responsibilities also included creation, management, and oversight of systems and processes used for program quality evaluations and customer satisfaction.
Jim’s collaborative leadership approach allows him to work closely with all levels of clinical and support staff, in order to develop the best solutions with client teams. His methods of evaluation are based on Lean Six Sigma principles, keeping in mind that people truly make the difference in any process design. Jim’s passion for quality delivery in clinical engineering is evident, as is his belief that excellence in medical equipment maintenance will provide superior outcomes for patients and healthcare organizations.
